in other recent news, the table just returned from downstate ny where they joined over 50 bands that comprised electro-music 2011, a three day festival that included, in addition to the live performances, workshops, demonstrations and seminars showcasing new and innovative advances in electronic music creation.
listen to the table's un-edited recording from their e-m 2011 appearance:
a new live album, sirens, is now available here as well as on the output:noise main site. clocking in at just over 60 minutes, sirens is comprised of two of the table's most recent performances; tracks 1—5 were recorded at the bread and water theatre in rochester, ny while tracks 6—8 were recorded at spark contemporary art space in syracuse, ny. these last three tracks, painted memories (r, g + b), were performed with live 8mm projections by syracuse experimental film maker, alexey vs.
the table is currently reviewing and editing live recordings from a series of recently completed new york shows (in rochester, syracuse and albany):
the syracuse performance at spark contemporary art space, which featured visuals by alexey vs, will be issued shortly via output:noise. In addition to being available individually, this release might also be included in a limited edition box set along with albums by berberine, torus and repeater.
for the rochester and albany dates the table performed a live soundtrack to a film by jesse aldere titled the house and is in the process of editing those performances for a dvd release in collaboration with the film maker.
